June 6th marked the 26th annual GW Cooke awards in Mission.
This fund was established by Bill and Shirley Walker in memory of their good friend George Willoughby Cooke.
The medallion and certificate received by local students is a reminder of their significant achievements in math or science as well as recognition for their good character.
This year Rosemary Nemanishen and Linda Clark presented 47 children with their awards.
