Book a librarian

If you need the help of a living human for searches, call Mission Library

For those topics that aren’t Google-able, the Mission Library is making living, breathing search engines available by appointment.

Its Book a Librarian service allows patrons to meet with a librarian who specializes in a topic of interest, who can provide a personalized tour of a library branch, or who can locate difficult-to-find information.

Learn about specific collections, find out about eBooks, discover the advantages of using online databases instead of the World Wide Web, get suggestions for great reads in any number of different genres, or receive tips about web searching to get the results you desire.

For more information or to register, visit the library at 33247 Second Ave., or call 604-826-6610.
