Celebrate Canada’s 148th birthday

Mission residents will converge on Fraser River Heritage Park for a full day of celebrations.

Fraser River Heritage Park will be packed with fun and activities on July 1 as the annual Canada Day celebration takes place. The popular loggers' show is one of many acts returning for 2015.

On Wednesday, July 1, thousands of Missionites are expected to don red and white and head out to Fraser River Heritage Park to enjoy the annual Canada Day celebration.

Along with live entertainment all day long, there will be a pancake breakfast at 8:30 a.m., flag raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m. and a fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Favourites, including the loggers show and fly ball and agility dogs will also be on hand. New this year are free horse and carriage rides. For more, visit mission.ca/canadaday.
