All 337 students of Hillside Traditional Academy participated in the school's annual Terry Fox run on Sept. 25. Despite the inclement weather students, staff and parents ran in honour of Terry Fox and the Terry Fox Foundation. Terry’s goal was to collect $1 from every Canadian for cancer research. Hillside Traditional Academy raised $551 towards Terry’s goal of finding a cure for cancer.
