The Mission Library is hosting a number of fun and educational activities aimed at all age levels.

 

Manga Village

Do you love manga and anime? Join us at the library for contests, crafts, fun Japanese food, manga talk, and lots of anime to watch on April 21, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Anime with a TV14 rating will be shown. For ages 12-18.

 

Family Storytimes

Join in for stories, songs and puppets April 20 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Fun for all ages and stages.

 

Celebrate Poetry Month

Poetry for all! Enjoy a treat and listen to the lyrical language of the locals at the library April 14 from 2 to 3 p.m.

 

Word Keepers

Mission's writer's group offers encouragement for all writers from the closet writer to the published author, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 18. Special guest speaker will be Walter Schmur.

 

Babytime

Drop by the library for an interactive storytime with books, songs and more on April 17 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. For babies up to 24 months and caregiver.

 

International Knitting Club

Join in every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. for knitting, conversation and fun.
