Billboard has named Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe the top song of the summer.

Jepsen co-wrote the song with Tavish Crowe.

The Mission native has earned high praise for the hit in the music industry. It reached number one on music charts in 19 countries and spent nine weeks in the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this year.

Jepsen rocketed to fame after signing with fellow Canadian Justin Bieber's record label earlier this year.
