Big and Rich coming to Mission

Country stars will be part of the Rockin River Music Festival

Big and Rich will be one of the headline acts at next summer’s Rockin River Music Festival in Mission.

“We’re all very excited to have Big and Rich at the fifth annual Rockin’ River festival,” said concert organizer Kenny Hess. “Big and Rich is one of the most entertaining acts in the country scene, and they’ll put on a great show at the raceway next summer.”

America’s Technicolor Cowboys, John Rich and Big Kenny Alphin, will be one of the headline acts for the 2013 Rockin’ Riverfest, set to go Aug. 15-17.

Big and Rich’s hit song Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy, topped charts in a variety of music genres in 2004, and their most-recent album Hillbilly Jedi, the duo’s first release since 2007, has been widely acclaimed.

Rockin’ River Music Festival takes place Aug. 15-17 at Mission Raceway Park and will feature some of B.C.’s and Canada’s best country talent. The rest of the 2013 lineup will be announced in the months to come.
