Carly Rae Jepsen has been nominated for this year's MTV Music Video Awards in the Best New Artist category.
Her hit song, Call Me Maybe, has already earned the Mission native high praise and recognition in the music industry.
The video, directed by Ben Knechtel, shows Jepsen spying on a neighbour, then flirting to get his attention. It's an upbeat and fun video.
