Ken McCoy Band returns to Mission

Popular musical group performs Wednesday night on the Twilight stage

The Ken McCoy Band performs on Wednesday in Mission.

The Envision Financial Twilight Concert series resumes on Wednesday, July 26 with the local country gentleman with his aptly named band The Ken McCoy Band.

This group has been delivering hard driving, good old fun music for years and this will mark their second appearance at the summer concert series.

McCoy performs everywhere from fairs, festivals, rodeos, one nighters, clubs, casinos, corporate shows and special events. With over 20 chart hitting singles released to radio to date, countless nominations and awards including SOCAN songwriter of the year and single of the year for Prayin for Rain.

McCoy’s tour schedule is never ending. He continues to write, record and tour.

Three outstanding musicians Jay Wittur, Gary Grace and Tony Del, round out the popular band and together they have garnered a large local following of ardent fans. Collectively this group of country luminaries have gathered an impressive number of Canadian Country Music Award nominations and awards.

Wednesday’s concert also marks the second Full Cupboard night and concert audiences are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Mission Food Bank. Join Envision Financial in reducing hunger in the community as they work toward their goal of raising 100,000 pounds of food and $1 million by 2023.
