Suspects sought in Mission home invasion
Police are hunting for two males who invaded a Silverdale home Sunday, mistakenly believing it contained a marijuana grow operation.
The pair of masked suspects, one of whom was armed, entered the Silverdale Avenue residence at approximately 2 p.m. Aug. 7 and demanded to be shown the pot. When they couldn't find one, the men told the victims not to call police and left.
The homeowners were not injured and immediately called Mission RCMP.
Mounties are asking for the public's help and request anyone who saw any suspicious people and/or vehicles in the area at that time to call police at 604-826-7161, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
