Mission Institution inmate dies
A Mission Institution inmate died Oct. 10 of natural causes at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
Mirhashem Seyed-Fatemi, 61, was serving an indeterminate sentence for second degree murder, which started May 10, 2011.
Next of kin have been notified.
As in all cases where an individual dies while in custody, the police and coroner have been notified. In addition, the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
