Home break-ins plague Mission
A series of vacant home break-ins have kept Mission police busy.
RCMP are finding doors pried open at a number of urban and rural homes in Mission, and the Lower Mainland District Forensic Identification Section is working with local police.
"It appears that the alleged suspects are targeting these residences because in each break and enter large kitchen appliances have been stolen," says Cpl. Sharon Siluch.
"No matter where you live, when anyone is away from their home for an extended period of time, it is important to take extra care in securing your property. Not only should your home be secure but it should also appear lived in," says Siluch.
At the present time, police do not have any suspects
Anyone who may have seen anything or has information regarding these crimes is encouraged to call the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161, or call Crimestoppers at 604-669-TIPS (8477).
