Structure fire contained Friday morning

Mission fire services responded to a report of a structure fire at Taulbut St. today at 6:24 a.m.

The fire and smoke damage was contained to one bedroom in the basement suite, according to deputy fire chief Bob Cannon. One woman was slightly overcome by smoke and was successfully treated by BC Ambulance Service on scene.

Two other adults and two teenagers living in the house were safely evacuated.

An investigation is ongoing.
