Monday night magic will continue on the Opening Nite Theatre stage until the end of the year.

The Third Monday Magic shows feature performers from the Fraser Valley Magic Circle (FVMC), a local chapter of the International Brotherhood of magicians, and special guests.

The shows are held on the third Monday of each month.

A different genre of magic, like comedy, stage and kids magic, is selected for each show, said Mike Norden, a popular children's entertainer who goes by the stage name Norden the Magician.

The most popular nights are the ones aimed at kids and those who are kids at heart, Norden added.

The next show is on March 17. Norden describes the lineup for the night as "amazing" with clowns, a ventriloquist, jugglers, face painters, and of course, magicians.

"Shows like this don't happen very often, so we are doing out best to bring some quality entertainment to the Fraser Valley," said Norden, who is the  emcee and producer for the shows.

He is also the vice president and a founding member of FVMC.

Tickets to the show are $10 for adults, and kids under 12 are admitted without charge.

For more information, or to buy your tickets, visit www.fvmc.ca. Opening Nite Theatre is located at 33223N. Railway Ave. across from the West Coast Express station.
