The Rotary Club of Mission Mid-day presented a $10,000 cheque to Ron Leger for the St. Joseph’s Food Bank Building Fund recently.

Club fundraisers accounted for $5,750 of the donation, while the remainder was from a Rotary District 50/50 grant. The money will cover the cost of paint and supplies, flooring, and appliances.

Rotarians from the Mid-day Club will also be hands on when it comes time for the painting to be done. This is a project that the Club has been involved in from the beginning and members are looking forward to putting the finishing touches on the building.
