Magicians compete for title

Third Monday Magic is back on the Opening Nite Theatre stage on Aug. 18.

Organizers of the show will be teaming up with the Fraser Valley Magic Circle to crown the Children's Magician of the Year.

Six of the Fraser Valley's top children's performers will compete for the title. The entertainers will be judged by a panel of five celebrity judges, including two children from the audience.

Last year's winner, Zany Zack, will host the event which gives each competitor 10 minutes to impress the adults and kids in the audience. Come cheer on your favourite magician.

The show is free for children who are under the age of 12. Tickets are $10 each for adults. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at Abstract Glass in Mission, or online at www.fvmc.ca.

Opening Nite Theatre is located at 33223 N. Railway Ave.
