The fire ban in Mission was lifted on Monday by Mission Fire/Rescue Service, due to the change in weather.
There is no longer a ban on open burning within the district. In addition, residents with recreational fire pit permits may now use them.
The fire/rescue service thanks residents for co-operating to keep the community safe during the hot, dry weather of the past two months.
