Abbotsford fire crews had just dealt with a car fire in a raspberry field when they were called out Thursday afternoon to another fire – this time at the U-Haul Moving and Storage facility at 30618 Matsqui Place.
The fire broke out around noon and crews at around 12:15 p.m. were cutting away at the roof to attempt to knock down the blaze. It appears that an electrical issue in the attic area was the cause of the fire.
No other details are available at this time.
