ICBC funds Mission roadwork improvements

The insurance corporation provided just over $10,000 to help fund two Mission projects

A pair of Mission roadwork projects recently completed were aimed at improving safety on local thoroughfares.

ICBC partnered with the District of Mission to enhance signage and pavement markings at Cade Barr Street and Cherry Avenue, and provided $2,400. Further east, the insurance corporation and Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure came together to replace the Hatzic Pumps Bridge deck surface. ICBC contributed $8,200 to that venture.

The money came from ICBC's road improvement program, which since its formation in 1989 has invested more than $100 million in B.C.
