A small earthquake was felt in Abbotsford and Mission on Thursday night.
The 2.4 magnitude quake occurred at 7:07 p.m. and was centered five kilometres east of Mission and seven kilometres north of Abbotsford.
People posting on social media said they felt a loud rumble and shaking that lasted about five seconds or like a big truck rolled by.
"Heard a bang. Then my lights flickered," said one post.
The last earthquake that was felt in the area took place on July 5, measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale.
