Missing woman found, dies five days later

Natalie Dubreuil was located on Dec. 17. Five days later, she passed away. Mission RCMP had listed her as missing back in October.

41-year-old Natalie Dubreuil has passed away.

A woman who went missing in October and was located in December has died.

Mission RCMP issued a notice in October, asking for the public’s help in locating 41-year-old Natalie Dubreuil, who was, at the time, last seen on Oct. 1 in Abbotsford.

She was known to frequent the Abbotsford/Mission area as well as Surrey and the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver.

According to Mission RCMP Sgt. Shaun Wright, Dubreuil was located on Dec. 17. Five days later, she passed away. There are no details on how she died.

Coroner Barbara McLintock said the case is still under investigation.

“It is an open case with the coroner’s office and we’re still investigating to try and determine what the cause of death was.”
