Simon Gibson (left, BC Liberals), Dan Cameron (centre-left, Christian Heritage Party), Jennifer Holmes (centre-right, Green Party) and Andrew Christie (right, NDP) are running in Abbotsford-Mission.

There are five more hours before polls in B.C. close and the ballot counting begins.

After a long campaign, all the candidates can do is wait until the results are announced.

Abbotsford-Mission riding Liberal candidate Simon Gibson said it was a “great campaign” and he plans to watch the results come in from his campaign office at 7221 Park St. in Mission.

Green candidate Jennifer Holmes called the campaign “interesting,” noting that it was her first one.

She and her supporters will be at the Stage in downtown Mission awaiting the results.

Christian Heritage Party candidate Dan Cameron said he was “thankful for the opportunity to raise important issues affecting the community where I was raised.”

He will be watching the results from home.
