Beginning Tuesday (June 2) public works crews are beginning a major capital work project on Dewdney Trunk Road, north of Richards Avenue in the Mill Pond area.
The road requires extensive surface and underground repairs. Only single lane closures will be required but delays should be expected and the use of alternate routes is recommended.
The district expect that preliminary work will be completed in June, followed by asphalt work that will continue into mid-summer.
The public's cooperation and patience is requested through the process. Drivers should pay attention to warning and advisory signs and traffic control people.
