Someone in Mission woke up really happy on Friday morning.
A winning lottery ticket worth $25,000 a year for life was purchased in Mission during the first ever Daily Grand draw.
The winner, who has yet to come forward, matched five out of five numbers missing only the “Grand Number” to win the secondary prize of $25,000 a year for life.
The grand prize of $1,000 a day for life and was not won on this draw.
The winner’s name will be announced after the winner comes forward to claim their prize. Winners have one year from the draw date printed on the ticket to claim their prize.
The new game was launched this week and the first draw took place Thursday night.
