Reward offered for stolen camera

A Mission couple is offering $100 reward for the return of their digital camera

Mission RCMP are asking for the public's help in located a stolen camera.

On March 21, a vehicle in the 8000-block of Ashmore Place was broken into, and amongst other items, a couple's Canon Elph camera was taken.

This camera contained hundreds of photographs of their toddlers, none of which had been downloaded or saved. They have issued a $100 reward for the camera's return.   "All of the photographs they have taken of their children are gone. I can't image the sadness they must be experiencing, not only now, but years from now when they do not have these pictures to look back upon," stated RCMP Sgt. Miriam Dickson. "It is my deepest hope that the person who is responsible for this theft will do the right thing and return the camera."

This can be done by dropping it off at the Mission detachment with no questions asked, or at a location of their choice advising Mission RCMP where it can be found.
