Firefighters spent nearly four hours battling a stubborn fire on Jacobsen Street Friday morning in Mission.
Neighbours reported a shop on fire around 2 a.m., which drew Mission Fire/Rescue members from all three stations to the rural area, located just off Keystone Avenue.
Flames were shooting from the roof when firefighters arrived, and found a marijuana grow operation in the outbuilding.
An investigation is slated for today (May 4).
