An explosion in an RV injured two people early Friday morning.

A propane tank likely caused the blast at 4:48 a.m. in the area of 4th Avenue and Walnut Street in Abbotsford, assistant fire chief Craig Bird said.

One person was flown to hospital in Vancouver by air ambulance, he said. That individual’s current state is unknown at this time.

Another person suffered only minor injuries, Bird said.

Bird said investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the explosion.
