Traffic on the Lougheed Highway was at a standstill this morning as a single vehicle accident occurred at about 9 a.m.
While no details have been released, a vehicle appears to have lost control while travelling east bound on the Lougheed Highway, just past Chester Street, and rolled over into a ditch filled with blackberry bushes.
A driver and at least one passenger needed assistance to escape the crash.
Police, ambulance and firefighters were on scene.
There is no report on any injuries at this time.
Traffic is now moving mormally.
