It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Alisha Harkirit Kaur GILL. On July 12, 2009 she passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She will be forever sadly missed by her beloved parents Dave & Gurmit GILL. Siblings: Solomon, Victoria, Lucas, Grandparents: Balvinder (Satpal GILL, deceased) and Gurbachan (Ragbhir MINHAS, deceased). Aunts: Gurpreet (Paul GREWAL), Sukhjeet (Paul BRAR), Satvinder (Ray SANDHU), Raman (Satnam GREWAL), Cousins: Sabreena, Jasmine, Jeevan, Janu, Sabeer and Gita as well as countless other relatives. Although this is an extremely difficult time for our family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful memories that we shared with Alisha and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people.
The family would like to thank the staff's of Vancouver Children's Hospital and Canuck Place Children's Hospice for their gentle, dedicated and compassionate care in ensuring all her needs were met with a smile.
We are thankful to our family, friends and colleagues who have been an incredible source of support and compassion. You have all helped us in so many ways to help ease our way through this most difficult time.
Please join us to celebrate Alisha's life and the happy moments we shared with her in her life that was all to brief. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2 PM at Valley View Funeral Home at 14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC. The Funeral Service will be followed by a Cremation Service and a Celebration of Life gathering also at Valley View Funeral Home.
