Alma (nee Dyck) Neufeld

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mom passed into her Lord and Saviors presence surrounded by family in Abbotsford Hospital on May 13, 2017. She is predeceased by her husband William (Bill), her one sister and five brothers. She is survived by her brother Clarence (Helen), two sisters-in-law Edith and Darlene, as well as her four sons Ken (Mary), Bob (Adina), Cliff (Pearl), and Wes (Nettie). She was Grandma to eleven grandchildren and Great-Grandma to twenty great-grandchildren, and one on the way. Mom loved her family very much and was always so happy when they would visit her and take her on outings and for dinners. She would always ask about all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had an incredible memory and was very interested in her family's activities. She was a member of Grace Church for many years and attended regularly when her health permitted. She loved flowers and did flower arrangements for many weddings and other occasions in the Abbotsford area. She took up painting in her early 80's and painted many pictures of birds, animals and landscapes. These paintings now are treasured by family. A Celebration of her Life will be held on June 23rd at 5pm at Grace Church on McMillan Rd in
Abbotsford, where family and friends will join to share in the memory of mom's life. In lieu of flowers donations to the Samaritans Purse which is a Charity mom supported would be greatly appreciated.
