HARDER, Anne, 1912 - 2009
Anne passed away peacefully on July 2, 2009. She was born in Russia and moved to Manitoba as a child. In the early 60's she moved to BC and, with her husband Ike opened the Marshall Wells hardware store in Clearbrook. They enjoyed retirement in Abbotsford for many years. They loved to travel and often went to Arizona in the winter. Anne was an active golfer, curler and bowler and loved to play bridge. She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Ken) Flett, her son Harvey (Catherine) Harder, her grandaughters Sherry (Casey) Peters and Celia Harder and her great grandchildren Matthew and Nicole Peters; her brother John (Ellie) Siemens; nieces and nephews and their families, Erika (John) Dyck, Gerda (Ed) Dyck, Loni Braun, Vernon (Linda) Siemens, Alvin (Audrey) Siemens, Rita (Rob) McEwan, Norman (Karen) Siemens, Edwin (Debbie) Siemens. A graveside service for family and friends will be held on July 15 at 2:00pm at the Maclure Road Cemetery. Reception to follow.
