FRIESEN, Annie
- It is with immense sadness that I announce the passing of my best friend and life long confidant, my mom, Annie Friesen. She passed away Friday, August 29th at Abbotsford Regional Hospital after much pain and suffering during her last months at the Menno Hospital. Mom is now with her beloved Saviour, and family and friends who had gone before her. Mom was 91 years young and is survived by her loving daughter Sharon, son-in-law Jack; brother Jac Thiessen, sister Tina Dale, sister-in-law Helen Jantz and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Isaac in 1958 and daughter Shirley in 2007.
During Mom's healthy years she loved to have family and friends over for dinner. When she had a garden Mom donated home canned vegetables towards God's work. Mom loved Jesus with all her heart. She loved watching baseball, hockey and figure skating as well as sewing and solving crossword puzzles. Anyone who know her well, knew of her love for collecting dolls and knickknacks. To the caring nurses at ARH, thank you so much. There will be a graveside service Friday, September 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Maclure Road Cemetery, 33965 Maclure Road, Abbotsford.
