MACKIE; COLLEEN CHARMAINE
(nee Kinghorn)
Colleen was born at Rest Haven, BC February 19, 1951 and passed away in Abbotsford, BC January 14, 2009. She will be forever loved and remembered by her husband of 38 years, Stuart Mackie, and her sons Stephen and Jason, and grandchildren Ryan, Kaylee and Ashley.
Her passing has left an unfillable void in the heart of her sister and best friend Sharon (Bert) Trussell and their sons Mark, Arlen, and Shawn (Preethi). Colleen also leaves to mourn her passing, brother Wayne (Deanna) Kinghorn and their children Brent and Dana (Trevor) Kearnes.
Colleen will be missed by a host of friends and many young people that she worked with and ministered to in her capacity as Food Services Director at Mountainview Summer Camp.
Colleen was pre-deceased by her parents John Gordon and Rose Kinghorn, brother Clare, and sister-in-law Marie.
Memorial Service January 24, 2009, 2:00 pm at SDA Open Door Church (Bethel Reformed) 3260 Gladwin Ave.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are being accepted in an Educational Trust Fund, for Colleen's grandchildren.
