Donald Francis “Robin”
Nov. 12, 1964 to June 11, 2007
Robin Diablo passed away after a long battle with diabetes. He was known to the whole community for his big grin and friendly greetings to friends and strangers alike. He worked for many years at the Mission Bowling Alley and developed lasting friendships there. Robin was raised in Mission and graduated from Mission Secondary School. He is predeceased by his mother Joan and maternal grandfather Chief Henry Peters, and paternal grandparents Martin Diablo and Josephine Bobb. Robin will be greatly missed by his grandmother Margaret Ann Peters, Âsisters Jeanette Diablo and Joanne Diablo, and his brother John, and his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 21 at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home (7386 Horne St.). Funeral Mass on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 32550 – 7th Ave., Mission, followed by a gathering of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family or the Aboriginal Services of the Canadian Diabetes Society.
