McAllister Dot (nee Dorothy Lang)
Oct. 19th 1922 - Oct. 30th 2012. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dot McAllister on Oct 30th in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
Dot was born in Granum Alberta, daughter of Henry and Nellie Lange, and was one of five sisters, all who loved to sing. She was predeceased by her parents and four sisters. Dot is survived by Rae, her loving husband of 60 years, her children Dawn, Raymond and Michael(Lisa), her granddaughters Caralyn(David) and Michele(Chris), her grandsons Joshua and Liam, and her great grandsons Mateo and Aiden, all of whom she loved very much. The family will remember fondly Dots love of humming hymns, her witty sense of humor her love of dancing and her amazing cooking skills and entertaining skills as well as her enduring love for Rae and her unwavering faith. The family would like to thank Dr. Chow for his good care of Dot over the years, and would like to extend thanks to the Emergency room staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Abbotsford Baptist Church on November 11, 2012 at 2:00 pm 33651 Busy Road Abbotsford, BC.
