RANDALL, Edith Alice

Alice, a woman of unwavering faith and love for God.

Alice was born in New Osgoode Saskatchewan. Following high school she took 2 months of teachers training and started her teaching career at age 18 in a one room school house. Alice married Allan Randall on July 8, 1947. They moved to BC in 1952 and to Mission in 1958. She taught in the Mission School District for over 20 years. She is Predeceased by her husband Allan in October 1995, and her siblings Elsmere Will, Bea Hubble, Thelma Wrigley and Dorothy Murton. She is survived by her 6 children Glen (Jolleen), Gloria (Murphy) Pottage, Dale (Merna), Robert (Linda), Donna-Lee and Lynn (Brian) Higgins-Jouget, 28 grandchildren and 15, soon to be 18 great - grandchildren, sisters Myrtle Van Leutervelt, Marjorie Thomas and Aileene Snider as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday October 14, 2012 at 3:30pm at the Mission Alliance Church 34203 Dewdney Trunk Road in Mission BC. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to "Food for the Hungry" to continue the support of Alice's 2 sponsored girls in Rwanda. Fhcanada.org
