WEISSKOPF Elisabeth. Elisabeth passed away peacefully in the morning of November 3, 2012 at the age of 93 with her family at her side. She lived at home, on her farm, until just shortly before her passing. She is pre- deceased by her husband, Johann in 2002, her son-in-law, Peter Kramer in 2004 and by 1 brother and 2 sisters. She leaves her amazing spirit with her son, Hans, her daughter Eva (Kramer), her granddaughters Sabina (Chris) Kyba and Jessica (Dr. Matthew) Germaine and her beautiful grandchildren (her angels), Carson Kyba, Sophia, Isla and Amelia Germaine and many relatives back in Germany. "Oma" was born on October 20, 1919 in Budaors, Hungary one of 4 children and married Johann in 1943. They had to leave their homeland in 1945 and went to Germany where they lived until they moved to Abbotsford, BC in 1971 and bought their farm. She worked in her son's pastry shop until she was in her mid 80's and their hard work gave them a lot of happiness and success. She taught us so much, gave us a lot of love and devoted herself to her family. She will be dearly missed in our hearts. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and home care support workers who cared for her at home and to the absolutely amazing staff and volunteers at Christine Morrison Hospice where she spent her last few days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice Society in Abbotsford or Mission. A private service will be held.
