She is survived by her loving family; daughter Pamela Plosz, son Gregory Gorsky, (Barbie), son Frazer Stickle, (Mary-Lou), sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and George Friezen, sister-in-law Doreen Tyas, granddaughter Ashley Gorsky, grandson Dylan Plosz, granddaughter Kelsey Gorsky, grandson Clint Gorsky, granddaughter Allison (Grace) Stickle, granddaughter Victoria Ross and several loved nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and England. In the early 60's she made Vancouver her home and started a family. She remained in Vancouver and was a proud advocate of her beautiful City. Evelyn was a kind and compassionate person who enjoyed her large circle of friends; she had a love of music, fashion and politics. At the age of 74 until very recently she shared her life with her granddaughter Grace who was 9 years old after Angela passed away suddenly. Grace and her Nanny had a special bond and looked after each other for the past 6 years. The past two years Evelyn experienced some health issues; however with the assistance of her family, friends and special care givers she was feeling better, happy and appreciative of all the love she was receiving. Evelyn will be dearly missed and forever loved. A celebration of life will be held in Mission, BC.
