Faith passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission on September 28, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Faith was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Amy Swain. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Shane (Cheryl) McPhail and Ryan McPhail; her daughters Helene (Jay) Smith and Tracey (Steve) Peters; her grandchildren Shaun, Jennifer, Christine, Shana, Kylee and Reegan as well as her sisters Shirley Thompson, Gaye Pedersen and Marie Rusk. Faith was a Legion Member and enjoyed curling, line dancing, hiking and her grandchildren. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Clarke Theatre, the Red Cross and the lifetime learning centre.
A service will be held at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mission’s Christine Morrison Hospice in Faith’s memory would be appreciated.
