Ferdinand TEINDL

TEINDL, Ferdinand John. Fred Teindl passed away on Feb. 11, 2012 at the age of 89 in the home he built. He is survived by his son Jaimie (Terri-Lynne) and grandchildren Karisa, Kaeden, Kailee and Billy; brothers Frank, Tony and Herb; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Pat, son Bill, and sister Mary Garvey. Fred was born in Felizienthal, Austria on Nov. 23, 1922. Fred served for his country overseas and was a member in the Knights of Columbus. He owned and operated Teindl's jewelry store in Mission with his wife for many years, until he retired from watch repair. He continued to work on hobbies and his talent for wood working. A funeral service was held at St. Joseph's Catholic church on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment was at Hatzic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knights of Columbus or St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
