FOULDS Francis Brian (Buck). There was only one Buck. Francis Brian (Buck) Foulds passed away peacefully at 6:10 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2012, surrounded by his family. At 75 years of age, Buck had finally succumbed to cardiac disease, though he fought through numerous heart attacks and associated maladies with the passion of a pugilist. He was, and remains, one tough customer. Buck is survived by children Debbie, Rick, Leah, Darryl, Chris and Shane; grandchildren Melissa, Kyle, Jenny, Danica, Saige, Jeff, Tanice, Lisette, Rayne, Remi, Veronica, Atticus, Madeline and Olivia; great-grandchildren Sydney, Jimmy and Shiloh; sisters Pat and Yvonne and many nephews and nieces. Buck was predeceased by his mom and dad and his sisters Audrey and Marilyn. He will forever be remembered for his love of his 442, the creation from the ground up of his successful garage-door company and his fondness for attaching a nickname to almost all he knew. If you knew Buck and you had a nickname, you know you were loved. Above all, Buck will be remembered for his devotion to his Gelly Bean, who left him too soon 13 years ago and with whom he resides today. A service to celebrate the life of the man with the ponytail and tough smile will be held at Newlands Golf Course, 21025 48th Ave., Langley, on Saturday, Aug. 11, beginning at noon. It will be a casual affair at which friends and family are welcome to share a story or simply sit and listen. In lieu of flowers, donations in Buck's name to B.C. Children's Hospital are appreciated.
