REDFORD, George William

George passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, BC. George is survived by his wife Janet, sons George Jr. (Wanda) and Gordon, daughter Barbara (Russ), step-daughters Terry (Doug) and Tracey (Terry), 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Alice and sisters Vera Oliver and Marion Wallace.
George was a member of the RCAF from 1941 to 1946 and re-entered the Airforce in 1954 and stayed until 1971. He was in the Core of Commissionaires for the remainder of his working life and retired from the Aldergrove base in 1991. George enjoyed carpentry and square dancing in his retirement. No service by request. The family would like to Thank the kind staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and the many friends and family that have called.
