It is with great sadness that we must say good-bye to Gerry. Gerry passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home Wednesday, July 29th of natural causes. He is survived by his two sisters Charleen Patterson, Claire Ollenberger (Ken), two nephews Christopher Patterson, Derek Neid (Jocelyn), two nieces Rose-Anne Bransford (Dennis), Michelle Neid, two great nieces Cathi-Lea and Elizabeth, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and all who knew him. Born, raised and lived in Abbotsford, Gerry was the son of the late Charles and Kathleen (Keeping) Myers of Abbotsford. Gerry, a free spirit displayed remarkable strength, and courage in all of life's challenges and shared with us a gift of humour to the end. The family extends their appreciation to the wonderful, caring people at Commitas Community Living Program for all their support and help in seeing that Gerry lived a very independent life. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
