McCORMACK
Mrs. Gertrude "Gerty" Margaret McCormack, late of Abbotsford, BC passed away on September 18, 2008 at the age of 64 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her five children: Shawn (Cathy), Patricia, Dwight, Kathleen & Maureen (Dave) Short; four grandchildren: Shawna, Cheryl, Megan & Aidan; sister: Hilda (Ed) Bond; sister-in-law: Alice Hollinger; brother-in-law: Vic Arnott and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Patrick Joseph McCormack, sister Irene Arnott, and brothers Louie & Jack Hollinger.
Gerty was a loving mother, grand-mother and sister. She was a good friend to many.
A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at a family home with Pastor Myrna Lovell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Children's Hospital and/or the Scleroderma Society of Canada. (www.scleroderma.ca)
