Chalmers, Gordon William
Passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, B.C. on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by his siblings, sisters Pat, Jean, Georgina, Billie, Vera and Sheila and his brother Peter. Gordon is survived by Stella, his loving wife of 35 years; his children, Gordon and Cindy (Brian); grandchildren, Bailey and Alexandra. He leaves, also, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A long-time Teamster, Gordon worked mainly in heavy construction throughout B.C. He and Stella have lived in Deroche since 1977. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, Oct. 24, in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555 - 31 Ave., in Aldergrove.
