Born to B. Jamie Syme and Kathryn Ann Syme (Aitchison), July 9, 1979 at Fort Saint John, BC, Jeremy brought much joy into their lives. He grew up near Telegraph Creek, BC, graduated High School in 1997 in Canby, CA, then moved with his family to Abbotsford, BC. He spent his last 6 years in Beaverlodge, AB. Jeremy was protective, generous and passionate about his family; always prepared to give the shirt off his back for someone in need.
A Memorial service was held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Beaverlodge Alliance Church, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Community Centre in Beaverlodge.
Jeremy is survived by his grandmother: Eva L. Syme, father: B. Jamie Syme, mother: Kathryn A. Syme, brother: R. Bruce Syme, sister-in-law: Angela Miles-Syme, sister: Tamara C. Syme, sister: Eva K. Zanardo, brother: Paul D. Syme, brother: Robert J. Syme and sister: Miranda J. Syme. He had one neice: Robin T.D. Syme, three nephews: Jordan R. Zanardo, B. Leland Syme & Colton J. Zanardo.
Predeceased by grandfather: Bruce W. Syme, grandmother: Kathleen E. Brennan (Aitchison) and grandfather: Bruce S. Aitchison.
