WIENS - Kornelius (Korney)
passed into the presence of his Lord on January 16, 2010 at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his wife Tina in 2008. He is survived by his loving family, children David (Vivienne), Vic (Karen), Benjamin, Esther, Martha (Lindsay) Chambers; 5 grandchildren Cheryl & Michael Wiens, Naomi, Pauline and Joel Chambers. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters and their families. Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 24, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 25 at 10:30 a.m. in Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Rd. Abbotsford, with viewing before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Avant Ministries, (formerly Gospel Missionary Union) 2121 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg, MB R2G 1P8, for the Malaga Media Centre, Spain, a radio outreach to the people of Morocco.
