PETERS, Lena
Lena Peters was born January 1, 1917 in Waldheim, SK. She died peacefully March 27, 2010 at Christine Morrison Hospice. She is predeceased by her husband John of 63 years, 3 children who died as infants, 1 brother Jake, 4 sisters Margaret, Tilly, Clara, and Adina. Lena is survived by her loving family; brothers Elmer and Walter, sons Ed, Ray (Elaine), and Ken (Emily); grandchildren Sherry, Paul, Trevor (Permi), Johnathan (Maggie), Caran (Nathan), Chris (Karen); great grand- children, Ayvan, Austin, Mattéa, Gabriella, and Ramona; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She lived a full and active life; loved and enjoyed her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5 from 6-8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford. The Memorial Service will be held at Grace Church, 2087 McMillan Road, Abbotsford, BC on Tuesday, April 6 at 1 pm.
