Maja Kongensgaard
Maja succumbed to cancer January 2, 2005 after a short illness. Leaving to mourn her passing is her husband of almost 41 years, Erik Lindberg. Also grieving are her children Gitte (Vince) and Erik Jr. and two granddaughters, Leah and Erika, all of Victoria. Maja also leaves three brothers, Vagn (Lise) of Abbotsford, Borge (Inge) of Copenhagen, DK and Hans of Holstebro, DK; and her extended family of foster children, Jennifer (Lawrence), Chad, and Justin. Maja was born July 12, 1934 in Hurup, Denmark. She was an RN in Denmark and Canada. She enjoyed camping, dancing, needlecrafts and keeping in touch with her large circle of friends and acquaintances worldwide. Her vitality will be missed by all.
There will be a Celebration of Life Friday, January 20, 2005, 2:00 at the Club House of Fircrest Estates.
