Passed away peacefully at Abbotsford Hospital with close friends Wendy and Reg Jensen by her side and her beloved pastor Mike Nulph as well. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jack Fraser, her second husband, Arthur Shaw, her parents Foster and Catherine Smith, her daughter Catherine Kroeker, son-in-law Ray Kroeker, brother Neil J. Smith, sister-in-law Marion Smith and grandson Peter Kroeker. She is survived by her son John (Laurel) Fraser, grandsons; Ian (Shona), Thomas and Joshua Fraser, all of Winnipeg, Manitoba and granddaughter Amanda Kroeker-Friesen (Kim Friesen), great grandchildren; Noah and Emma Friesen, her nieces and nephews. She was an amazing, independent woman always elegantly dressed, put together and not a hair out of place. She enjoyed walking to and through Seven Oaks Mall, in her safety vest, greeting everyone with a smile and a hug. She also had a listening ear and a caring heart and she promised to pray for them and their needs. She was our prayer warrior and will be greatly missed. We know that her reward has been granted because she trusted, had faith and was full of hope for life in heaven, eternally with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. A Memorial Service is planned at the Central Valley Baptist Church 33393 Old Yale Road (at South Fraser Way), Abbotsford, BC at 4:00 pm, Saturday, November 19, 2016. Paster Mike Nulph officiating. Interment in the family cemetery beside her parents will be in Spring 2017 at Shoal Lake, Manitoba.
